I got this set as a birthday gift in 2012. What can I say? TIE Fighters are pretty cool. I really dig the overall design of the set. I'd definitely like a few other Star Wars sets, but they are not a priority.
I should specify that the licensed stuff that abounds these days (SW, LOTR, Harry Potter, etc) just isn't as interesting as the original Lego designs. It's still nice, but I want to collect more of the classic stuff (especially pirates) first.
