Architecture Series: Sungnyemun
First up is the Lego Architecture series' Namdaemun/Sungnyemun (or 남대문/숭례문 in cleaner Korean spelling). It came at a relatively high price for such a small item. It is at least an aesthetically pleasing set, and it rests nicely on my nightstand.
I'm not sure if I'll get any of the other buildings in this series. Time will tell...
Oxford, South Korea's own producer of Lego-style bricks, also has their own version of this gate. It is on a much larger scale but it struck me as rather plain-looking in comparison to this one. Oxford does have a lot of great stuff though, and you'll see lots of it as I post it here.
